Deer Feeding at Attingham Park (left) – Every winter weekend from 5 November at 2pm in the deer park and daily in the Shropshire Christmas and February half-term school holidays.

Shrewsbury Chocolate Festival – A choice of scrumptious chocolate at St. Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury, 12 & 13 November. www.shrewsburychocolatefestival.co.uk

Illuminated Gardens at Powis Castle (left) – Spectacular illuminated formal gardens, terraces and courtyard. 25-27 November, 2-4pm and 9-11 December, 5-8.30pm. Free to NT members.

Cinderella at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury – Very popular local pantomime, 30 November until 8 January. www.theatresevern.co.uk

Ellesmere Craft Market – This popular craft event is on 3 December 2016, 10-5pm at The Market Hall, Ellesmere.

Visit Santa Claus & His Elves – Every weekend leading up to Christmas at the British Ironwork Centre, Oswestry, from 10-4pm. www.britishironworkcentre.co.uk
